Our 2nd and 3rd graders are learning about advertisement and graphic design in Mrs. Smits' Art Class designing saucers that could be selected to be on a Wisconsin Herd jersey. Parents, please watch for the saucer and directions on how to submit their artwork to the contest next week...here are some of our creative students in the process! #brillionlions










Students in Mrs. Mader's classroom are learning customer service and money skills by offering coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and milk to our staff and students at Brillion High School. They are working hard to purchase some of their classroom "wish list" items. Thank you to everyone who stood in the line this morning! They've already been able to buy some books from the Book Fair last week! #brillionlions



Last Wednesday the extended care students went to the Ariens Museum. Half the children worked on Lego Robotics and the other half did Ozobot Coding. The children helped the Bees find a flower or Honey! #brillionlions





Mr. Kittel, Mrs. Kees, and Mr. Baumgartner handed out dictionaries to the third-grade class. The dictionaries are a gift from the Optimist Club. Mr. Kittel taught the students how to use the dictionary.

Brillion's Poultry team has been busy preparing for the National FFA contest in Indianapolis. The students placed second at last week's contest in River Falls. Emma W and Reese C were 2nd and 7th individuals. Good Luck competing at the National FFA Events! #brillionlions

Taste Test Tuesday! A creamy Greek salad was tested a the High school today at lunch. Students tried the sample and then "voted" with a sticker if they liked it or not. We will be having new items and recipes at both schools to get student feedback!

Brillion FFA had two teams compete in the Poultry contest in River Falls this past Friday. Emma W and Reese C placed in the top ten individuals competition and Brillion 1 placed second as a team. Great job and congratulations! #brillionlions

Below are the WIAA tournament series updates for the volleyball and cross-country teams at BHS.
Volleyball
-The volleyball team will host Mishicot on Tuesday, Oct. 17th at Brillion High School. Game time is 7 pm. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
-Admission for regionals is $6.00 each for adults/students/children. Cash or check only
-Reminder that no conference/season passes are allowed at WIAA Tournament Series events.
-The winner of this match will play Howards Grove at Howards Grove High School on October 19th.
Cross Country
-The boys and girls cross country teams will be running at sectionals on Saturday, Oct. 21st at Wyona Park, Wyocena, hosted by Portage High School.
The boys race begins at 11:00 am
The girls race begins at 11:45 am
-Admission for all spectators will be $7 per person for sectionals. Admission fee will be collected when entering the parking lot. CASH ONLY. No conference passes are allowed at WIAA Tournament Series events.
-Spectator Parking is designated with “Visitor Parking Signs.” The area is located just 100 ft. past the Wyona Park Entrance sign. You will not be able to park anywhere in Wyona Park. There will be limited spaces for handicapped spectators and those with special accessibility needs. They will have to be cleared by the parking attendants.
-Teams and individuals that qualify for state will run at the WIAA State Cross Country Meet at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids on Saturday, October 28th.
