THANK YOU SCHOOL LUNCH HEROES Not only do our school nutrition services staff work hard to prepare, serve, and deliver meals to our students, but they often take a vested interest in the students with whom they work. They always find ways to support our students, whether that be through a pat on the back, offering a friendly smile, looking up a cafeteria number, or helping to find the necessary means to help a student in need. Effective learning can only take place when a child's nutritional needs are met, and BPS's Food Service Workers fill this vital role each and every day… True heroes! 💛💛💛 #brillionlions #thankyou #SchoolLunchHeroDay #Schoollunch #lunchladies #lunchladiesrock

American Heart Association Thank You - My name is Jackie and I am your school’s American Heart Association representative. As we’re getting close to the end of school, I wanted to send a THANK YOU message for including the American Heart Association in your school’s 2023-2024 year. Thank you for raising nearly $8,100 for Kids Heart Challenge to build healthier lives. You are the top school in the area – congratulations! Thank you to the entire Brillion Elementary School community for opening your hearts and supporting the mission of the American Heart Association in our 100th year. You built a safer community by learning hands-only CPR, 4 signs of stroke and heart-healthy habits all while helping others. Thank you to each and every one of you who played a role in making this program a success! And last but certainly not least, a truly heart-felt thank you goes out to Mr. Schauer for pouring his heart into Kids Heart Challenge. We are blessed and grateful for his leadership! We appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you for helping the American Heart Association celebrate 100 years. ~Jackie, Brillion Elementary School American Heart Association Representative

Happy May Day! I was lucky to receive a May Day Basket from our wonderful Brillion Elementary 4K Students. Other baskets were delivered to local businesses, put on the door handles of houses in the neighborhood, and given to individuals Mrs. Geiger met. Those individuals expressed appreciation and gratitude. A lovely poem was written on a card as was the history behind the tradition of May Day Baskets. "April showers bring May flowers And what do these May flowers bring? Happy thoughts and sunshine smiles And wishes for a wonderful Spring!" Thank you to the Brillion Elementary 4K classes. You made my day! #brillionlions

Third Graders are learning about the accessibility to water around the world. We’ve learned that many other countries do not have reliable access to safe, clean water. Some even have to commute lengthy distances, carrying heavy water containers, to have water in their house. Students experienced carrying buckets of varying amounts of water, trying not to have it splash around, in relay with their peers. Some students stated the activity was interesting, tiring, and eye-opening to the lives of others around the world. #brillionlions
