Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! Now more than ever, our teachers need us. Let’s show them appreciation and support as they work to ensure our students can succeed and thrive.

Second graders went to visit the Arien’s museum as part of their pollinator unit. While there they got to have fun training “bee“ Osbots. They also built Lego flowers and bees and then created a pollination code using computers. #brillionlions
4th grade did a team-building activity during indoor recess.
Each class worked together quickly passing a ball down the line, the catch, they couldn't talk while doing it. They all did a great job completing the challenge.
We’re celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week in the Brillion Public School District!
In these final weeks of the school year, we invite families, students, and communities to take some time to reflect on everything our teachers have done and continue to do to support our students. 🎉

State Superintendent Proclaims Teacher Appreciation Week Across Wisconsin
“Our teachers are the heart and soul of our education system - the impact they have stretches far beyond classroom walls,” State Superintendent Dr. Jill Underly said. “They are the unsung heroes in our communities who go above and beyond to help shape the next generation of leaders. I am so incredibly grateful and send my thanks to all Wisconsin educators for all they do to care for our kids, and for their support in helping them learn and grow as individuals.
“During Teacher Appreciation Week, I encourage Wisconsinites to take a moment to express their thanks and gratitude to the teachers in your community for the dedication, passion, and commitment they have to our kids.”
Thank you Brillion Public School Teachers! #brillionlions

THANK YOU SCHOOL LUNCH HEROES
Not only do our school nutrition services staff work hard to prepare, serve, and deliver meals to our students, but they often take a vested interest in the students with whom they work. They always find ways to support our students, whether that be through a pat on the back, offering a friendly smile, looking up a cafeteria number, or helping to find the necessary means to help a student in need. Effective learning can only take place when a child's nutritional needs are met, and BPS's Food Service Workers fill this vital role each and every day… True heroes! 💛💛💛 #brillionlions #thankyou #SchoolLunchHeroDay #Schoollunch #lunchladies #lunchladiesrock

American Heart Association Thank You -
My name is Jackie and I am your school’s American Heart Association representative. As we’re getting close to the end of school, I wanted to send a THANK YOU message for including the American Heart Association in your school’s 2023-2024 year. Thank you for raising nearly $8,100 for Kids Heart Challenge to build healthier lives. You are the top school in the area – congratulations!
Thank you to the entire Brillion Elementary School community for opening your hearts and supporting the mission of the American Heart Association in our 100th year. You built a safer community by learning hands-only CPR, 4 signs of stroke and heart-healthy habits all while helping others.
Thank you to each and every one of you who played a role in making this program a success!
And last but certainly not least, a truly heart-felt thank you goes out to Mr. Schauer for pouring his heart into Kids Heart Challenge. We are blessed and grateful for his leadership!
We appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you for helping the American Heart Association celebrate 100 years.
~Jackie, Brillion Elementary School American Heart Association Representative

Happy May Day! I was lucky to receive a May Day Basket from our wonderful Brillion Elementary 4K Students. Other baskets were delivered to local businesses, put on the door handles of houses in the neighborhood, and given to individuals Mrs. Geiger met. Those individuals expressed appreciation and gratitude. A lovely poem was written on a card as was the history behind the tradition of May Day Baskets.
"April showers bring May flowers
And what do these May flowers bring?
Happy thoughts and sunshine smiles
And wishes for a wonderful Spring!"
Thank you to the Brillion Elementary 4K classes. You made my day! #brillionlions
