FCCLA finished the NexTrex plastic film collecting competition taking 2nd place in the nation. Our goal was to collect 3500 lbs. We ended up collecting 4265 lbs. NexTrex sent us a bench made from compressed plastic for our efforts. It was a lot of hard work but also very rewarding to be keeping that much plastic out of landfills. Great Job! #brillionlions
Our 10th Annual Brillion High School Athletics Golf Outing is in the works. Please make note of the new date, Saturday, August 19, 2023. Mrs. Graminske's Textiles and Clothing classes turned the kindergarten children's monster pictures and profiles into fun felt monsters. They also took the information provided by the kindergarteners, about their monsters, and turned them into fun stories.
Some of the students enrolled in the Textiles, Clothing, and Working with Young Children classes' made a trip to the elementary school to deliver the monsters and read the stories to the surprised kids. #brillionlions

The Brillion fifth-graders would like to once again thank everyone who donated shoes to their shoe drive! It was a huge success!! The ending total was 3,775 pairs of shoes. The truck came to pick up the shoes on Thursday. They don't know the exact amount they earned, but they are hoping it will be around $1,500. All of this will be donated to the Rainforest Trust.
