Thank you so much for supporting Lydia! We had a great first night of fundraising for her!
A comment on the Facebook post asked if parents could drop off donations at school, and the answer is YES. The District would be happy to accept donations at school this week! Jake and Sara, Lydia's parents, also have Venmo accounts people can donate to.

Hey Brillion fans, we'll be coming together at our home basketball games this week to support one of our own! Many of you know Jake Warrens, who is a Physician Assistant at Bellin in Brillion - he has treated and cared for many of our student-athletes in particular. Jake's 5-year-old daughter, Lydia, has been battling cancer since she was two, when she was diagnosed with a rare kidney cancer, clear cell sarcoma. After enduring chemotherapy, radiation, and the surgical removal of her right kidney, she began a long road to recovery. This past fall, they learned that the cancer had returned. Now, Lydia and her family are bracing for another battle, and they are determined to overcome the challenge once again!
To alleviate some of the medical expenses for the Warrens family, fundraiser buckets will be
present during the Brillion boys and girls basketball games this week on Tuesday and Thursday. A Miracle Minute fundraiser will also be held during halftime of each game.
We thank you for your support and generosity in helping Team Lydia! #brillionlions

Students collected data to analyze in Statistics class today. They decided on the Standing Stork Test to see how long students could balance on both their dominant and non-dominant feet. Students then summarized the data in a frequency distribution and analyzed it to find the measures of center, variation, and relative standing. #brillionlions

Last week in Music Class, students had an enrichment extension of their winter concert song which mentioned figgy pudding. Ms. Rice collaborated with Batch Baker Company to give the students a chance to try it for themselves. Batch Baker Co. did a great job of making a kid-friendly recipe. The first graders were very brave and excited to try this traditional British Christmas treat. While there were mixed reviews, fun was had by all! Thank you Batch Baker Co. for helping with this experience! Please select the links to see some of the reviews. #brillionlions
