Staff participated in a "Potluck Lunch". The camaraderie was fantastic as was the food! Two lucky teacher's names were drawn to receive a "free" day. They can take off for a day and Mr. Baumgartner will teach their class.

Summer Camp learned how to make different types of shelters on Monday which included wood/stick lean-to's, tipi, lean-to, and an A-Frame at the BNC. #brillionlions
Students in the Extended Care Program enjoyed learning about fishing from Greg Karch, founder of Learn 2 Fish With Us, Inc. a not-for-profit company. Mr. Karch is a certified Angler Educator and Instructor. During the "Fishing Basics Seminar", the topics presented were:
--Safety while fishing,
--Review spin cast and spinning fishing combos,
--How to cast accurately,
--How to tie a Clinch and Palomar knot,
--Parts of fish,
--Fish identification,
-- Live and artificial bait, and more.
At learning stations, students practiced casting, tying knots, learned about rod and reel combos, and colored their favorite fish species. At the end of the program, students were given a t-shirt and their very own rod and reel combo! #brillionlions
