"TO STRIVE TOWARD ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AND TO FOSTER PERSONAL GROWTH AND CREATIVITY IN EACH STUDENT THROUGH THE COOPERATIVE EFFORTS OF HOME, SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY"

September 20, 2019

All Brillion PTO clothing orders are due to the office today.

Remember, before and after school, you should ONLY be crossing the street in crosswalks! You should not be crossing Washington St or Main St unless you are in cross walks. This is walking and on bikes. Take care of yourself by following this law.

It is your job to get yourself to class on time. Plan your afternoon accordingly, so you can make it. Don’t stand around lockers waiting for friends. Make sure YOU take care of yourself and get there. There will be consequences for repeat offenders so be a responsible scholar and get to class on time.

Reminder that all permission slips to attend the FFA FIRE Conference are due today to Ms. Kunde. FIRE Conference is open to all 7th and 8th grade students and is a great way to learn the basics of FFA and meet many middle school FFA members.

Now that we have been in school for a few weeks, I want to remind you of our behavior incentives we have 4 times per year. Students who continue to complete all of their work and have good behavior get to participate in our behavior incentives. Each incentive will cost you 25-30 pride paws, so keep working to earn them. If you are misbehaving and disrupting classes, you may not be able to participate in the incentive. Take care of yourself and keep your behavior in check.

Congratulations to all of our scholars who participated in Read 600 this past summer. We are working on scheduling a movie for our scholars who read at least 800 pages. Today, I am drawing 3 names from each grade level for prizes. If your name is called and you want to pick a prize, please come to the office right after announcements. Grace Krueger, Bruce Zipperer, Kaylee Lamers, Nicotiana Schroth, Chase Thibodeau, Ayla Evenson, Landon Hanson, ALayna Klug Sungmin You.

BMS Scholars also submitted almost 100 book reviews from their reading this summer and in September. These will be useful tools to others looking for a book to read over the year! Winners from the book review drawing are: Ava Denor, Shyla Ferrel, Sawyer Fritsch, Tarik Schneider and Hailey Kalies. Remember to keep submitting your book reviews after each book you read for a chance to win!

Next Friday, September 27th there is a Punt, Pass, & Kick competition for 3rd thru 8th grade students. This will take place at 3:30 at the MS practice football field.

Guest Teacher: Mrs. Johnson here today for Mr. Hussey. We hope you have a great day here at BMS so scholars, let’s insure that he/she has a great day here at BMS by following our district commitments.
